About David
David was born in Boston, MA and raised 30 minutes south of Brockton. David attended Johnson and Wales University in Providence, RI where he received his BS in Hospitality Management and played four years of collegiate tennis. David has held Management positions in all aspects of hospitality for the past 25 years – in Country Clubs, Hotels and Restaurants. Once served as Director of Operations at Stonebriar Country Club for 4 years. Served as General Manager of Denton Country Club, where he completed a 5-year full club reinvention. David joined Las Colinas Country Club and oversaw the multi-million golf course and club renovation where they now are the host club of the Invited Classic.
David was named the GM of Stonebriar Country Club in the fall of 2021. He has an open-door policy and is always available to his Members.
David currently resides in Prosper with his wife Cara, daughter Lexie and son Boston. When he is not at the Club, David enjoys spending time with his family, attending his children’s sporting events, traveling and has a love of baseball and boxing.

About Shelly
Shelly is a Native Texan from Dallas. She joined Stonebriar in 1990. Stonebriar became part of the Invited family of clubs in 1994. Shelly has years of Club experience in member relations, private events and membership sales. Shelly has been the recipient of many national corporate accolades and was inducted into the President’s Club in 2001 and the Invited Hall of Fame in 2005, and Invited All Star in 2014. Shelly has a passion for the Stonebriar and the Club’s Membership. Shelly’s door is always open. She makes it a point to know each of the Members and helps them become part of the Stonebriar Membership family. Her favorite part of Membership is helping Members build life-long friendships. Shelly is married to Stonebriar’s PGA Director of Instruction, Jimmie Meador. They have a son, Davis and daughter, Rachel. Shelly loves to spend time with her family – traveling, watching the kids sporting events, volunteering and just having adventures.

About Whitney
Whitney earned a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from the University of North Texas. In 2015, she started her career with Invited Clubs as a beverage cart attendant at Gleneagles Country Club. Since then, she has held the positions in Member Relations, Private Event Sales, and Membership Sales. Whitney joined the membership team at Brookhaven Country Club in 2021, and was promoted to Director of Membership in early 2022. Whitney joined the Stonebriar Country Club team 2023. Whitney enjoys traveling, physical exercise, and spending time with family and friends.

About Carlos
Carlos and his family are originally from the Woodlands, TX. He was born in Philadelphia, PA but spent most his childhood in the country of Venezuela, where he learned and fell in love with the beautiful game of tennis. After a decorated junior career, Carlos attended Emporia State University on a tennis scholarship and played line No. 1 in singles and doubles, and also served as the team captain. After school, Carlos spent one year living in The Netherlands training and competing in professional tennis tournaments.Carlos joined the Invited family in 2010 by becoming the Director of tennis at April Sound Country Club in Montgomery, TX. After five successful years at ASCC, Carlos accepted the position of the Director of Tennis at The Clubs of Prestonwood in Dallas, TX. There he built the tennis program from the ground up by adding many teams and programs for members to connect with each other. About Leah
Leah has been around fitness her entire life and has worked in the fitness industry for over 10 years. She began her fitness journey as a figure skater, diligently skating and training in the gym. She continued to skate for Michigan State University and then toured professionally overseas before landing back in the gym as a trainer in Chicago. She planted her career in fitness and worked up to Director of Operations, then General Manager. Leah loves getting to know Members and helping people learn how to live healthier lifestyles. He and her husband have 2 year old twins and love to spend time with them.

About Justin
Justin Shipley knew from an early age he wanted to become a chef and share his love of food and creative culinary dishes with others. Now after years of experience in the Dallas-Fort Worth area restaurants and hotels, Chef Justin continues his dream as the Executive Sous Chef at Stonebriar Country Club.
Chef Justin graduated in 2004 from The Art Institute of Dallas, where he studied culinary arts. He went on to learn alongside experienced chefs at The Four Seasons Las Colinas, which was invaluable as he later learned to balance running a restaurant and hotel simultaneously as the Sous Chef of Shula’s 347 Grill.
In 2009 Justin was given the opportunity to work for Levy restaurants at the American Airlines Center for his beloved Mavericks and Stars. He moved on to become the Executive Sous Chef for American Airlines Center. It was there where his expertise grew, with oversight of every aspect of food service in the suites department. Quickly thrown into arena food service and large-scale events, he made great memories serving events like the Kentucky Derby, NBA All-Star Game, NBA Finals, Super Bowl, The Grammy and US Open. In 2016 he took the role of Executive Chef for Levy Restaurants, which is the exclusive food and beverage vendor of the Esports Stadium Arlington and Expo Center. Brings with him a vast array of experiences.
